Welcome to the Competence Upkeeping Program, the web page that allows you to test your knowledge and become certified on the various rules, regulations and guidelines related to the diving industry.
C.U.P is aimed to train and instruct diving technicians and commercial divers on the different Rules, Regulations and Recommendations issued by: ABS, ADC, DMAC, DNV, IMCA, IMO and NOAA.
The objective of the program is to achieve the widest level of preparation, encouraging divers to familiarize themselves with technical matters and equally for diving technicians to cover operational issues.
C.U.P is designed in a way which allows for the introduction of new Rules and Recommendations, widening the scope of the program with the addition of replacement new Rules.
Test types and modes of completion:
Training mode – serves as a means of testing your knowledge without recording your results.
In this mode of completion, you can chose to make two test types:
1) Comprehensive – answer 40 questions randomly chosen from more than 100 rules, regulations & guidelines by 7 regulatory agencies.
2) Specific – answer 20 questions randomly from one single authority chosen by you.
Certifying mode – after you have trained yourself enough you can take this type of test in which your results will be stored and if you answer 80% or more of the questions correctly, certification will be gained.
In this mode of completion, you can take the test of the profile/s that your administrator assigns you.
